Zillar Macon, 84 of Paducah, KY, formerly of Decatur, IL died Saturday, 1:10 a.m. January 17, 2009 at Medco Center of Paducah.

Ms. Macon was a cook. She was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ in Dallas, TX, where she served as Sunday School Teacher and member of the Ladies Bible Group. She attended Jasper Street Church of Christ in Decatur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, James Wesley Macon, her parents, Will and Mary Stewart Kyles, one sister and four brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Gloria D. Cruthird, of Paducah, KY, three grandsons, Jerry Macon of Detroit, MI, James Cruthird, Jr. of Dallas, TX, and Robert E. Cruthird of Quinlan, TX; two granddaughters, Patricia Miller, and Kimberley Hopson, both of Dallas, TX. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Ninth Street Church of Christ, 715 South 9th Street, Paducah, KY. Brother Mark Rowe and Brother Mayo Towles will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY

The family will receive visitors 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday at the church.
