Willie Rowland, lovingly known to all who knew him as "MICEY" , passed away at his residence in Mayfield, Kentucky, on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 6:00 a.m. MICEY was born January 19, 1956, in Mayfield.  At the time of his passing into eternity, MICEY was at the blessed age of 65 years, 8 months and 11 days.

MICEY was his happiest and thoroughly enjoyed riding his bicycle and shopping at his favorite stores. MICEY knew everybody, especially those at both the Mayfield Police Department and the Mayfield Fire Department.

MICEY was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hurt and Lina Rowland; His maternal grandmother, Nora Rowland; aunts, Nellie McMullen, Catherine Jones, Dora Mae Duffy and uncles, Luther B. Rowland, Robert Rowland and Otis Rowland.

Willie "MICEY" Rowland will be truly missed by his family.

A graveside service has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at Oak Rest Cemetery, North 6th Street, in Mayfield, KY.  Brother Thomas Todd will officiate.

Masks are required to be worn by all attendees.
