Obituary
Willie G. Prescott, age 64, of Paducah, died Sunday, November 21, 2010, 2:15 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
He owned and operated Slim's Salvage where he was a maintenance mechanic. He was a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Desse Lee Prescott and a daughter, Tonya Lee.
Prescott is survived by a son, Paul Lee of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; two daughters, Magretta Lee Davison of Las Vegas, Nevada and Magina Holder of Cairo, Illinois; his mother, Mislicy Smith of Paducah; 17 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren a brother, Oscar Prescott of Paducah; a sister, Evangelist Peggy Joangela Ajede of Paducah; an Aunt; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. W.G. Harvey officiating, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
