Obituary
Willie L. Landers, 94, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016, 11:00 pm, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
She was a member and co-founder of Macedonia Faith Fellowship in Eddyville where she served on the Mother's Board and on the culinary committee.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Dobson of Paducah; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Matchem of Owensboro, KY; two sisters, Sandra Copeland and Hilda Jo Gray, both of Princeton, KY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Landers, Jr.; her parents, Sanford Lee Matchem and Kate Grooms Miller; one daughter, Mary Kate Thompson; two sons, James Richard Landers and Thomas L. Landers.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Macedonia Faith Fellowship in Eddyville with Reverend Perry Boyd and Reverend Byron Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Old Eddyville Cemetery.
Friends may also call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2016, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and again on Tuesday at Macedonia Faith Fellowship from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
