Willie Fremon Senter, known and loved by many as "WF", at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 4 days, entered forever rest with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 11:34 p.m., from Baptist Health Hospital of Paducah, Kentucky. He was born in Paducah, Kentucky on August 20, 1947, to his parents Carlies Senter and Mary McKinney Senter who have both preceded him in death.
Willie was a non-denominational church goer. He attended the West Kentucky Vocational School and was a self-employed laborer.
On December 26, 2003, Willie was wed in holy matrimony to his lovely wife of 17 ½ years, Dorothy Jean Bridget Senter.
Willie was a super unique kind of guy. He was adventurous, very spontaneous and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and an all-around family man. Willie, a self-made hard-working man, spent a lot of time tinkering with many gadgets and going out buying and trading all sorts of varied goods. Whenever he could, Willie enjoyed going fishing and as an avid reader, reading subjects of his own interests.
Willie will be forever missed by His Wife of 17 ½ years , Dorothy Jean Bridget Senter of Fulton, Kentucky; His Six Children , John Senter of Lexington, KY, Marsha Sampson of Ullin, IL, Timon (Angenett) Bramley of Paducah, KY, Carlies Senter of Tulare, CA, Prophettess Carlitta (Pastor Clinton) Reed of Covington, GA, and Pastor Sonya (Pastor Stephen) Baker of Aurora, CO; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren ; One Brother , David Senter of Paducah, KY; Three Sisters , Mary Louise Hervey of Memphis, TN, Bettie J. Hunter of Peoria, IL and Carrie Woodard of Water Valley, MS; One Uncle , Robert (Betty) McKinney of Batesville, MS; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great and Great Great-Nieces and Nephews; Cousins and Friends .
Willie was not only preceded in death by his parents, but also by a son, Tim Bramley, and a brother, Carlies Senter, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Jean Senter.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 31, 2021, 12:00 noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
