William Howard "Nuky" Dunbar, Jr., 68, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2015, 6:00 pm, at his residence.

He was of the Baptist faith and a former chef for the Cabanna Club and Holiday Inn Restaurant of Paducah. He was a former employee with the City of Paducah Refuse Department.

He is survived by three daughters, Tanya Hocker of Louisville, KY, Choomekia Dunbar of Paducah and Melissa Chandler of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Phillip Shaw and Joseph Shaw, both of Louisville, KY; Nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Lee Dunbar of Paducah and Reverend Charles E. Dunbar of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Glenda Denkins of Paducah and Reverend Gloria Tarver of Kevil; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Dunbar, Sr. and Eloise Bolen Dunbar, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015, 3:00pm, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Charles E. Dunbar and Reverend Larry Tarver officiating.

Friends may also call at the funeral home from 2:00pm until the funeral hour.
