Obituary
William Irvin "Bubble Up" Banks, Jr., 79, Paducah, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the McCracken County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Banks was of the Baptist Faith and formerly worked for Yancy's Pavement. He was Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his parents, William Irvin Banks, Sr. and Rosa Quarles Banks, and one sister, Louise Banks Rouse.
He is survived by one daughter, Larese (Dwayne) Duncan, Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, Ceryse Erica Duncan, Louisville, KY, and one grandson, Dwayne Eric Duncan, Jr., Louisville, KY., and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend James H. Vinson officiating.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
