Willard Wilson, 77, West Paducah, KY, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 8:00 a.m. at his residence in West Paducah.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Oakalone Christian Church where he served as Steward and Trustee. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. Mr. Wilson graduated from West Kentucky Vocational School with a certificate in Carpentry. He retired from the Carpentry Department of Martin Marietta Energy Systems after 32 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice White Wilson, his parents, Elmus Wilson and Lillie Mae Titsworth Wilson; three sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by five daughters, Cecelia Barnette, Constance L. White, Renee Coleman, Lois Elaine Wilson, all of Paducah and Pamela L. Crider, West Paducah; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson and Reverend Clayton Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Military Rites.

Friends may also call at the Harrison Street Baptist church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
