Obituary
Weldon Lee "Butch " Calmese, Jr. 42, of Lumfkin, Texas, formerly of Paducah, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013, 11:30 a.m. at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Weldon was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church. He is a Veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Weldon was employed by the Department of Transportation in Lumpkin, Texas and was a member of the Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Weldon Lee and Delores Kelley Calmese, Sr.
Weldon is survived by, two daugthers, Danae Hooks, and Janyah Calmese, both of Pollok, Tx; one son Weldon Lee "Tra" Calmese III, Pollok, TX; two aunts, Mary Kelley Black, Paducah, KY, and Brenda Smith, Waukegan, IL; two uncles, William Kelly and Byron Kelley both of Seattle WA.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
Friends may also call the church on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
