Obituary
Wayne H. Perry, 67, Paducah, died, Wednesday, August 17, 2011, 8:44 a.m., at Western Baptist Hospital.
Wayne was of the Baptist faith and a 1962 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He was a US
Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam era and was a former employee of the Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis, MO.
Wayne is survived by two daughters, Dawn Perry of St. Louis, MO and Yolanda Yevette Perry of Detroit, MI; one son, Dewayne Perry of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Jewell H. Perry, Jr. of Marion, IL and Billy G. Perry of Paducah; one sister, Ja-Net Perry Freeman of Paducah; and several grand children nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Reverend Jewell H. Perry, Sr. and Emma M. Stubblefield Perry and one sister.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Donna G. Hawkins officiating, and burial will follow with military rites in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
