Waver Swanson Woods, age 47, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018, 11:00 p.m., at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville.

Waver was a member of the Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church where she served on both the Women's Ministry and the Culinary Arts Committee. She was formerly employed as a manager at Goodwill Industries.

She is survived by one son , Isaac Woods, Jr. of Santa Rosa, CA; two daughters , Jessica Woods of Sikeston, MO and Trinitra Moore of Louisville; four grandsons ; one brother, Billy "Peter" Swanson of Columbia SC; one sister , Jennifer Swanson of Paducah; several nieces , nephews , aunts, uncles, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her parents William "Billy" Swanson and Bobbie Atkins Swanson; husband Isaac Woods, Sr. and one daughter.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call t the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
