Voris G. Smith Jr., age 73 of Evansville, IN, formerly of Paducah passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the Golden Living Center in Evansville.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired bus driver from Greyhound Bus Lines.

He was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pastor Voris G. Smith Sr., and Lucille Jefferson Smith and four sisters.

He is survived by Two daughters; Lela Smith of Willingboro, NJ, Kristina Smith of Evansville, IN , One son; Marcus Smith of Delran, NJ; Nine Grandchildren; Three Grandchildren; Two sisters; Sharon Burgher and Carolyn Sebree both of Evansville, IN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Raynarldo Henderson officiating.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
