Viva Lee Human Carver was born on March 31, 1958, to the late Orville Human and Carolyn Campbell Human in Johnson City, Tennessee.  On Thursday, November 30, 2023, at approximately 8:36 a.m., Viva answered the call of her Heavenly Father from her residence in Paducah, Kentucky.  She was blessed to have lived to the age of 65 years, 7 months and 29 days.

Viva was a member of West End Baptist Church of Paducah where she sang in the church choir.

She was a graduate of the Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee and had taken numerous online courses in Biblical Studies.

Viva was a Christian Lady who had a deep and loving desire to learn more and more of her Lord and Savior.  She read and studied the bible in depth with her son.  Viva, with the help of her family, was a foster parent for 15 years.  She met and nurtured many with both their mental and physical needs. Her love and devotion for caring for others, especially those considered less fortunate, was unmatched by anyone.

Viva is survived by: two sons, Steven (Diane Gipson) Carver and Bryan Carver, both of Paducah, KY; her former husband, George Carver, and two brothers, Kenny (Jerri) Human and John (Jenn) Human, all of Johnson City, TN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; one sister-In-law, Susan Human of Johnson City, TN, and a special friend, Brenda Allen of Las Vegas, NV.

Viva was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Sullivan, and two brothers, Lee Roy Human and Lonnie Human.

Viva Lee Carver will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her for the unselfish love she showed to all.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2023, 12:00 noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Brother Monte Hodges officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
