Obituary
Virginia Ruth Mason Green, 73, Paducah, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, 8:56 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Ms. Green was a member of St. James C. M. E. Church where she served on the Missionary Society and a member of the choir. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School and West Kentucky Vocational School earning her certificate in Clerical Administration.
Ms. Green was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. Mason, Sr. and Bessie Morrison.
Ms. Green is survived by one brother, Andrew (Leona) Mason Jr., Paducah, KY; one niece, Lizzie Cole, Paducah, KY; one nephew, Russell Cole, Paducah, KY; one Aunt, Samella Sharp, Detroit, MI. and several cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Friday, September 16, 2011 at St. James C. M. E. Church, 806 Tennessee Street, Paducah, KY, with Reverend Martha E. Granger officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery of Paducah.
Friends may also call at St. James C. M. E. Church on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
