Funeral service for Viola Ruth Lewis, 64, Bandana, Kentucky, will be Saturday, January 19, 2008, 12:00 Noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend James H. Vinson will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Lewis died of natural causes on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, 4:50 A.M., at Lourdes Hospital.

Friends may call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Saturday, January 19, 2008, from
10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Lewis, a domestic worker, was also employed at the trailer factory in Dowagiac, Michigan. Mrs. Lewis attended Little Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by:

Three (3) Sons – Eric Miller; Paducah, KY
John Miller; Augusta, GA
Gerald Miller; New Albany, IN

A Daughter – Vivian Lorraine Bullock; Louisville, KY

Her Mother – Opal Mae Hunt; Cape Girardeau, MO.

Six (6) Granddaughters & Five (5) Grandsons

A Brother – Willis L. James; Cairo, IL

Several nieces, nephews & Cousins

He was preceded in death by her husband Glynn A. Lewis, her father Marshall Lee James & a daughter Junior Lewis.
