Obituary
Vickie Lorraine Jones-Hollis, 47, passed away, Wednesday, February 24, 2016, 7:07 am, at Lourdes Hospital.
She was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries where she served as an usher and was a leader in both the Youth Ministry and the Women's Empowerment Ministry. She was employed with the United States Enrichment Corporation and a 1986 graduate of Lone Oak High School.
She is survived by one son, Anthony Antonio Hollis of Brookport, IL; one daughter, Chyna Marie Hollis of Paducah; her parents, Billie Murdock Hixon and Lannie Jones, both of Paducah; three grandchildren; two step-sisters, Sheila Leigh and Sherry Fox, both of Long Beach, CA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one step-sister, Shelly Ann Jones; her paternal grandparents, William and Martha Jones and her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Cora Mae Murdock.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 12:00 O'clock Noon at Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with Reverend Thaddyeus Thompson officiating. Entombment will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
