Veronica Jevelle Simmons-Green, age 46, of Murray,KY, formerly of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017, 11:35 a.m., at her residence.

Veronica was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and was a Sunday school teacher. She was employed as a sales clerk with Sears Roebuck and Company and was a volunteer at the St. Nicholas Clinic. She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and received certification as a Pharmacy Technician from Daymar College.

She is survived by her husband , Reverend Timothy Green of Murray; her parents , Robert Earl Simmons and Martha Mae Hayden Simmons of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Henry and Dorothy Simmons and her maternal grandparents, Frank and Margie Hayden.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Wade and Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call on the family on Friday, December 1, 2017, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and again on Saturday, at Moriah Missionary Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
