Thomas DiJohnta Willlett ascended to his Heavenly Home from Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital on Thursday, June 10, 2021, 4:52 PM, at the age of 28 years and 9 days.  Thomas brought joy and happiness as a new born son to his parents, Thomas "Bang" DeVaughn Willett and Chen Latrice Holland in Paducah, Kentucky on June 1, 1993.

Thomas was a member of Trinity New Hope Christian Church in Mayfield, Kentucky where he served in the Youth Ministries.  He was a 2011 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was self-employed in internet sales.

Thomas was a loving father.  He was known by many to be a friend who would always talk and give needed advice when asked.  He had a caring heart and was loved by all.  His door was always open for those who were in need.  He was a New York Knicks as well as a Cincinnati Bengals fan and kept up with both teams' actions.

Thomas DiJohnta Willett will be missed by both his family and friends now and for always.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 21, 2021, 12:00 NOON at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with his mother, Chen Latrice Shelton delivering the Message of Celebration and Pastor Larry Jamison presiding. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may also call Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Masks are required for all in attendance.
