Obituary
Thomas Jones, Jr., 65, Paducah, died Friday, January 15, 2010, 3:25 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Thomas was a member Lowdnes Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. He retired as a General Assembly Line Laborer from General Motors Company in Detroit, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Jones, Sr., his grandparents and one aunt.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 27 years, Annie Jones, Paducah; one son, Brian Walker, Houston, TX; his mother, Ruth Wood Hatten, Ingster, MI; one brother, Roscoe Jones, Ingster, MI; four grand children, two aunts, and several cousins.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 22, 2010, at St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 806 Tennessee Street, Paducah, with Reverend Darvin Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
