Terry Laird Stokes, age 58, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, 10:00 p.m., at his residence.

Terry was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School.

He is survived by three daughters , Alexis Askew and Alecia Askew, both of Paducah and Terica Stokes of Chicago, IL; one son , Terez Stokes of Chicago, IL; twelve grandchildren ; one sister , Brenda Stokes and one brother , Weldon Stokes, both of Paducah; two aunts .

He was preceded in death by his parents Laverne G. Stokes and Elijah Leonard Stokes and one brother.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, March 5, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
