Terry Matthew Johnson began his journey of life here on earth on February 20, 1969 in Charleston, Missouri, to the union of the late Dan Johnson, Sr. and Mary Alice Jones Johnson.  Terry grew in life and was lovingly known by many as "Happy" .  When he entered eternal life on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 9:57 a.m., from Baptist Heath Hospital of Paducah, Kentucky, he had reached the great age of 52 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Terry was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church.  He was a graduate of Heath High School and a former driver for the Blue Dot Taxicab Services.

Terry was a true family man; he loved being both a dad and grandpa.  Having family gatherings was also one of his favorite things to do.  He would quite often fish for the "Catch of the Day" and listen to his favorite hits of the day.  Happy was quite the jokester, a good cook, as well as being an all-around good person.

Happy was also preceded in death by one sister, Annette Johnson, his maternal grandparents, Johnny Johnson and Emma Johnson and his paternal grandparents, Andrew Jones and Thelma Jones.

Terry Matthew "Happy" Johnson will forever live on in the memories of all those who loved him.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, June 28, 2021, 12:00 Noon, at the Oasis Christian Center.  Pastor Larry Starnes and Reverend Dr. James L. Hudson will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
