Obituary
Terry L. Ferguson, 49, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, 9:00 PM, at his residence.
He attended New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the US Army where he served as Sr. Drill Sergeant and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #7 of Paducah. He was formerly employed by the Kentucky Department of Transportation and the U.S. Postal System.
He is survived by his two daughters, Aliyah S. Ferguson and Mercedes Janay Ferguson, both of LaCenter; his father, James Alvin Clark of West Paducah; his mother, Carolyn Virginia Ray Harris of Paducah; one brother, Norman E. Ray of Paducah; four sisters, Donna Ann Smith of Levittown, PA, Felicity Nicole Jones of Paducah, Laketta Denise Caldwell of Milwaukee, WI, and Veronica Clark of Antioch, TN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 18, 2015, 3:00 PM, at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Fonseco Frazier officiating. Burial will follow Monday, October 19, 11:30 AM, at Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, IL.
Friends may also call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
