Terrance L. Thomas age 62 years, 7 months and 14 days was born on June 11, 1959 in Bastrop, Louisiana to Leon Smith and Lorraine Campbell Thomas.

Terrance made his transition from this earthly life to eternal rest on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at approximately 9:31 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

Terrance attended Mt. Horeb Church in Metropolis, IL and was employed in the maintenance department at Massac County Housing Authority.

Terrance liked all types on music with "R & B" being his favorite and pantomiming Lenny Williams.  He was a "jack of all trades" using his hands to play poker, play pool and some carpentry.

Terrance was a hard worker and loved spending most of his time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Smith and Lorraine Campbell Thomas, three brothers, two sisters and one sister-in-law.

Terrance leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Saundra Hollowell Thomas of Metropolis, one son, Terrance Thomas, Jr., of Chicago, IL, one grandchild , five brothers, Amos (Mae) Thomas, Jerry (Carla) Thomas, Donald (Helen Stewart) Thomas, Reginald Thomas of Metropolis and Larry (Victoria) Thomas, all of Chicago, IL; six sisters, Gloria Anthony and Rosie Thomas both of Chicago, IL, Brenda (James) Dixon and Sheila McDonald both of Metropolis, IL, Linda (Edgar) Martin of Brookport, IL and Shenetta (James) Trice of Paducah, mother-in-law, Dorothy Holowell and four sisters-in-law, Loetta Brooks, Threaser Hollowell and Reba Hollowell all of Hopkinsville, KY and Vicki Hollowell of Louisville, KY, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 12 noon at Mt. Horeb Church in Metropolis with Reverend Gregory Pruitt and Minister Shonda Hollowell Burrus officiating. Inurnment will follow in Silver Crown Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.

There will be no visitation.

All in attendance are required to wear a mask.
