Teresa Anne Waldon Bolden, 66, Paducah, died Sunday, December 18, 2011, 11:30 PM at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Teresa was a member of the former Oakalone African Methodist Episcopal Church and later attended Oakalone Christian Church. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Teresa moved to Aurora, Illinois after high school and was employed by Coffeman's Coat Factory. She later moved back to Paducah in 1969 where she resided until her death.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, James Zack Waldon, one sister, Sharon Wiggington, and two brothers, Tito Martinez and Anthony Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, David Lee Bolden, Metropolis, IL, her mother, Marcelina Martinez, Aurora, IL; eight sisters, Tanya Martinez, Aurora, IL, Dulcina Smith, Batavia, IL, Katrina Martinez, Di-an Martinez, both of Rochester, NY, Carla Simmons, Milwaukee, WI, Robin Martinez, Santa Monica, CA, Elena Martinez, Memphis, TN, and Glenda Davis, West Paducah, KY; four brothers, William Martinez, Jr., Aurora, IL, Marvin Waldon, West Paducah, KY, Harvey (Harriett) Waldon, Midlothian, TX; and Scott Stewart, Paducah, KY one aunt, Clarina Warren, Aurora, IL; Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 12:00 Noon at the Church of the Living God CWFF, 1221 Oscar Cross Avenue, Paducah, KY, with Elder Elvin Woodruff, Jr., Reverend Benny Heady, and Reverend Dr. Clayton W. Beasley Officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmington Road Cemetery in West Paducah, KY.
