Terence R. "Terry" Green, 61, Metropolis, IL, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013, 6:30 a.m. at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Marion, Illinois.

Mr. Green was a member of House of Hope Ministries and is a veteran of the United States Army. He formerly worked for United Home Furnishings in Paducah, Kentucky.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Richard Green and Mary Lydia Wimberly, one daughter, Brittany Nicole Reid, two brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by two sisters, Cheryl Vanderford and Kimberly Smith, both of Brookport, IL; two brothers, Earnest Green, Brookport, IL, and Steve Green, Paducah, KY; one aunt, Leona Jackson, Aurora, IL; Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade Officiating, burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis, Illinois.

The family will receive visitors, from 11:00 am until the funeral hour on December 31, 2013 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home.
