Shirley Elizabeth Farrow, age 82, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021, 10:02 a.m. at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as mother of the church, secretary of Sunday school, Sisterhood ministry and the gospel choir.  She was formerly employed as a proof processor at Curtis Color Lab. Shirley also was a 1958 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband , Phillip Farrow, Sr. one son, Rodney Johnson, one daughter, Angela Johnson, her parents, Leo Horton and Mary Grey and five sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Tisa M. Jones of LaVergne, TN and Merilyn D. Halliburton of Paducah; two sons, Kurt P. (Brandi) Johnson of LaVergne, TN and Clifton Bernard Johnson of Atlanta, GA; eleven grandchildren, Roneshia, Marisia,Trenicia, Curtis, Ronald, Andrew (Tasha), Taryce, Keylan, Reagan, Jordyn and Milan; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and one daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Johnson of Las Vegas, NV: along with a special family, Diane Spivey, Herbert Blanks (Bernadine), Richard Blanks, Christ Blanks, Belinda Spivey-Nunn (Larry) and family.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 17, 2021, 12 Noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Wade officiating.

Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

All attendees are asked to wear masks.
