IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sherry Elaine
Clark
August 18, 1956 – December 25, 2023
Sherry Elaine Wolfe Clark, 67, peacefully transitioned from her earthly presence to her non-physical existence to be with her Lord and Savior on December 25, 2023, at 10:53 a.m.
Sherry was born to Jene Elistene Wolfe on August 18, 1956, in Paducah, Kentucky. Following the death of her mother in 1959, Sherry and her siblings were raised by a maternal aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Clarence Tooley. Not only did she have one set of parents to raise and nurture her, she was also blessed with the gift of Family from her father and bonus mother, Joe Dan and Mary Erma Young.
Sherry attended Paducah Tilghman High School (Class of 1974) and Mid-Continent University. She was previously employed by TeleService, Hawley Products, and MacShouse Enterprises in Paducah, KY and Garland Independent School District in Garland, TX.
Sherry resided the majority of her life in Paducah. She lived, loved, and laughed with family and friends. She sought to bring love and laughter to all those she knew and loved. Sherry was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a selfless friend that would give to others even if it were her last. She would always have the right words to encourage you to push forward and not to dwell on things that were in God's Hands.
Sherry was preceded in death by her mothers, Jene Elistene Wolfe and Mary Erma Young; her father, Joe Dan Young; great aunt, Beatrice Tooley; great uncle, Clarence Tooley; brothers, Adrian E. Wolfe, Joseph R. Young, Ray A. Young, James D. Young, Julian C. Young; and sister, Roberta Morrison.
