Sherri Denise Coiley, 52, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois, died on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at John H. Stroger, Jr. Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.

Sherri was a graduate of Glenbard West High School, Glen Ellyn, IL and earned her Associates of Arts and Science Degree from Shawnee Community College and her Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Fine Arts from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL

She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle and Faith Mininstries of Metropolis.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Lee Coiley.

She is survived by her mother, Rebecca J. Coiley, Metropolis, IL; one sister, Brenda Carter of Metropolis, IL; two brothers, Alonzo Coiley of Waupaca, WI and Keith Coiley of West Chicago, IL; six nieces and two nephews.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, February 2 , 2011 at 12 Noon at the Oddfellow-Masonic Cemetery of Metropolis with Pasor Thelma Juanita Leftwich officiating.

A memorial fund had been set up at City National Bank P.O. Box 380, Metropolis, IL 62960.

Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home of Paducah, Kentucky is in charge of arrangements.
