Obituary
Sharon K. Parker, 59, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Paducah ,passed away Monday, January 4, 2016, 10:07 am, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Youth Ministry and the Van Ministry. She was a homemaker and had attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Parker of Bowling Green; one son, Rondell Walker and one daughter, Courtney Walker, both of Bowling Green; one grandson; her mother, Jean Mosby Jackson of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Ralph Walker of Cleveland, OH and Jonah Walker, Jr. of Paducah; one sister, Shelia Walker of Murfreesboro, TN; three nieces, two nephews, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jonah Walker, Sr.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2016, 12:00 Noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.
Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
