Obituary
Seldon Teague. 78, Paducah, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, 7:11 pm at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
She was a member of Central Church of Christ. Seldon was a graduate of Lane College with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. She retired from the Paducah Public School System as a substitute scheduler and Head Start Teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bertha Hall Jones, a great-granddaughter, five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James R. Teague, Sr., Paducah, KY; one daughter, Domestra Hawkins, Paducah, KY; two sons, James R. Teague, Jr., Plantation, FL, and Thaddeus Teague, Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; one brother, Vernell Arnold, Lexington, TN; one sister, Cathon Robinson of Itta Bena, MS; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Central Church of Christ 2201 Washington Street. Jim Faughn will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
