Scott Henry Stewart, Jr., age 70, of Paducah, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, 10:47 p.m., at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was employed for 39 years as a welder with VMV Railroad Company and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by four sons , Stu Broady and Javon Davis, both of Paducah, Chavaz Stewart of Pittsburg, PA and DeJon Stewart of Tupelo, MS; eleven grandchildren ; one sister , Maxine Hunter of Annapolis, MD; one aunt ; two nephews ; and several cousins .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Scott Henry Stewart, Sr. and Thelma Emma Coffie and one grandson.

A memorial service will be held at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial hour.
