Samuel O. Thacker, Jr., 51, of Princeton, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, 4:35 p.m. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Booth-Thacker of Clearfield, KY; one son, Samuel "Trey" Thacker III of Conyers, GA; four brothers, Tony Thacker of Princeton, Bobby Joe Thacker of Paducah, Chris Thacker of Hopkinsville, Ron Sims of Newark, NJ; three sisters, Diane Southward of Paducah, Carolyn Thacker of Clarksville, TN, and Rochelle Wadlington of Princeton ; one uncle, Clarence E. Head of Hopkinsville; one great-aunt, Dolly Bumphus of Hopkinsville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel O. Thacker, Sr. and Nellie Sims Thacker; two brothers, Houston Thacker and Michael Thacker and a sister, Renee Thacker.
There will be no visitation or service.
