Obituary
Samier "Sammy" Spivey, 60, Paducah, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012, 1:57 pm, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
He was of the Baptist faith worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator for Del Denny Construction in Sparta, IL.
Sammy is survived by one son, Septian Spivey of Sparta, IL; one daughter, Belinda Spivey- Nunn of Paducah; ten grandchildren; four aunts and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Spivey and Rosie B. Triplett Spivey and a brother, Sonny Spivey.
Funeral service will be Thursday, December 13, 2012, 1:00 pm at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Alfred Anderson and Fred Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
