Funeral Service for Sam Caldwell, 95, Paducah, will be Saturday, April 12, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Elliotte Joiner and Reverend Rita Story will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Caldwell passed away at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at 10:20 a.m.

Friends may call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.

Mr. Caldwell was retired from King Woodall Garage and was a member of Hills Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

He is survived by:

A Step-Son – Raymond Overstreet; Paducah, KY

A Sister – Inez Caldwell-Talley; Paducah, KY

A Brother – Tom Caldwell; Paducah, KY

Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Faulkner-Caldwell, his parents Robert Caldwell & Inez Steven Caldwell, two sisters, and four brothers.
