Obituary
Ruby White Petty, 81, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, 9:30 pm, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
She was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church Where she served on the Mother's Ministry and formerly on the culinary committee. She was formerly employed as a server in various restaurants and at the Paducah Country Club.
She is survived by two sons, Mark White of Louisville and Gary White of Chicago, IL; three daughters, Denise White and Linda White, both of Paducah and Janice Siples of Rocky Mount, NC; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Petty; parents, William Fred Johnson and Leona Hayes Johnson; two sons, James White and Charles White; and one brother.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016, 12:00 Noon at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
