Obituary
Ruby Lee Jones, 70, Nashville, TN formerly of Paducah passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015, 8:38 pm at her residence in Nashville, TN.
She was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church where she served on the Culinary Committee. Ruby formerly worked in housekeeping at Superior Care Nursing Home.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Jones and Gloria Dean Edwards, nine sisters and eight brothers.
She is survived by, five daughters ,Demetria Jones-Smith, Nashville, TN; Zola Jones-Newburn, LeSia Covington Jones, both of Paducah; Ineal Wilson, Columbus, GA; and Vicky Jones, Clarksville, TN; five sons, Clemmie Jones, Jonesboro, GA, Stephen Covington, Galloway, NJ; Ray Jones, Clarksville, TN, Tony Covington and Kenneth Jones, both of Nashville, TN. Twenty-Nine grandchildren; Twenty-Four great grandchildren; one brother, Jessie Jones, Chicago, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Christ Temple Apostolic Church with Reverend Anthony Walton officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah.
The family will receive visitors, from 9:30 am until the funeral hour at the church.
