Rosie M. Watson looked towards Heaven and took flight to her Heavenly Home from the Continue Care Hospital at Baptist Health Paducah. At her time of transition, she was 75 years, 1 month and 21 days of age. Rosie was born in Brookport, Illinois, to the late Roy Lawrence Wade and Rosie Maxine Shannon Wade on August 21, 1945.

Rosie , a member of First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church, not only worshipped her Lord and Savior in spirit and truth, but also served in the Usher Ministry and was a member of the church choir. She was also formerly employed with the Easter Seals Center of Paducah.

Rosie loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She not only loved her grandchildren, but also expressed her love and care of her dog, Zeus., and would always shop for different gadgets for him. Rosie really enjoyed shopping at both Walmart and the Dollar Tree. Rosie was an outdoors kind of lady and was quite fond of going to Noble Park and feeding the ducks. She loved the beach and would take a flight to one of her favorite places as often as she could.

Rosie leaves to honor her existence here on earth: Three Sons , David L. Watson of Clarksville, TN , Brian L. (Stephanie) Watson of Springhill, TN , and Phillip Shaunta Watson of Paducah, KY ; One Daughter , Tina M. (Cedric) Garrett of Riverdale, GA ; Fourteen Grandchildren , Ivory, Jerica, Latrell, La'Darius, Tyrica, Cedjae, Musa, Kamri, Ta'Shaun, Jacquiere, KeShawn, Khalil, Tania,and Shawanda; Six Great-Grandchildren , Jordan, Arionna, Jaiydyn, Journey, Aniyah, and Azaria; Three Brothers , Edward (Brenda) Wade and Earl Wade, Both of Paducah, KY and Revie Wade of Brookport, IL ; Three Aunts ; One Uncle ; Several Nieces , Nephews , and Cousins including Kenya Bagley and Victoria C. Conley whom she thought of as her own.

Rosie was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Wade, her grandparents, Revie Shannon Sr. and Susie "Mama Susie" Shannon.

Rosie M. Watson's presence will be sadly missed and her memory continually etched in the minds of all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2020, 12:00 noon at Christ Temple Apostolic Church with Rev. Michael Wade and James Topp officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
