Rosie Lee Hart surrendered her soul to the Heavenly Father at Baptist Health Paducah on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 4:30 a.m. Rosie was born in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late Lawrence Hart and Louise Person Hart, on August 3, 1943. At the time of her passing she had lived for 81 years, 3 months and 1 day.
Rosie, a homemaker, was a member of the Ninth Street Church of Christ.
Rosie thoroughly enjoyed being around her wide circle of friends and entertaining guests in her home. She was a wonderful matriarch of the family who liked to have a good time. She loved to party and cook for family and friends. Rosie loved music, especially the blues. Her favorite artists included Johnny Taylor and Marvin Sease. She also loved to play a good game of Gin Rummy or Spades.
Rosie's absence will be felt by her Two Daughters, Sandra (Perry) Anderson and Rose Marie (Henry) Kizer, both of Paducah, KY; Two Bonus Sons, Jimmy (Stacey) Hart of Ridgely, TN and Dewayne Bell of Paducah, KY; Ten Grandchildren, Joe Michael (Christy) Hart of Paducah, KY, Larry Hart of Central City, KY, Jerome (Stacey) Hart, Dawn (DeMonte) Hart, Joey (Rebecca) Hart, Melanie (Milo) Anderson- Patterson, and LaShawn (Drae) Hart-Williams, all of Paducah, KY, Takeasha (CJ) Harris of Atlanta, GA, Jaron Anderson of Paducah, KY and Shamara Kizer of Atlanta, GA; 36 Great-Grand
16 Great-Great Grandchildren; One Sister, Shirley Montgomery of Paducah; Three Brothers, Bobby Joe Hart, Robert Lee Hart and Jamie Lee Hart, all of Tiptonville, TN; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Betty Hart, Billy Jean Hart, Doris Hart, and Debra Hart; one brother, David Hart; and one grandson, Randy Marshall, Jr.
Rosie will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, November 16, 11:00 a.m. at Ninth Street Church of Christ with Brother Mark Rowe officiating.
Family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
