Rosie Lee Garnett, age 67 of Paducah, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, 8:33 a.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes.

Rosie retired from Parkview Life Care Center and was a member of Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church where she formerly served on the Usher Ministry and anywhere else she was needed in the ministry when called upon.

Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Melkie Jones, Jr., and brother-in-law Darryle Rucker.

She leaves to cherish her many memories two sons , Robert Donta (Kim) Garnett of Paducah, KY, and Jamalachi Jerome Garnett of Springfield, TN; her mother , Hattie Jones of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren , Dae'Shaun Garnett (Aubrey) of LaVergne, TN, Trey'Von Garnett (Taylor) of Woodbury, TN, Robert Garnett and Alexis Garnett of Paducah, KY, Mya Garnett of Missouri, and Jeveon Garnett of Springfield, TN; three greatgrandchildren , Khadija Garnett and Khadyn Garnett of LaVergne, TN, and Cambrie Garnett of Woodbury, TN; three sisters , Emma Jones and Elizabeth Jones of Paducah, KY, and Maxine Jones Rucker of Murfreesboro, TN; one god son , EJ Homere of Nashville, TN; and a host of special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2022, 12 noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.

Friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Masks are required for all attendees.
