Rosetta Cook Mitchell, 77, of Fulton, formerly of Princeton,
passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, 3:00 AM, at Haws
Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fulton, KY.
Rosetta was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and a
retired cake decorator for Wal-Mart. She was a
graduate of Lyon County High School and attended West
Kentucky Vocational School where she received certification
in culinary arts.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Lawrence Edward
Mitchell of Fulton; four sons, James Watkins of
Hopkinsville, Dique Hollowell of Fulton, Victor Hollowell
of Owensboro and Stassen Hollowell of Cannelton, IN; three
daughters, Bernetta Watkins of Hopkinsville, Peggy Hollowell
and Janice Hollowell, both of Princeton; several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Debra
Hollowell and Gina Purchase both of Paducah, Rhonda
King of Alexandria, AL and Connie Faulkner of Hinesville,
GA; and one brother, Barry Faulkner of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Cook and Reby
Mae Bumphus, two sons, Jeffrey Watkins, and Kerry Hollowell;
one grandson; two sisters; and one brother
Funeral mass will be held Friday, September 18, 2015,
11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church ,501 Eddings Street,
Fulton, Ky., with Father Robert Drury officiating.
Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM
until the funeral mass hour.
Funeral services will also be held on Saturday,
September 19, 2015, 1:00 PM, at Morgan Funeral Home 301 West
Washington Street ,Princeton, KY with Father Mike
Clark officiating. Friends may also call at the
funeral home from11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
