Ronnie J. Williams, Sr., 55, Paducah, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, 3:45 p.m., at Western Baptist Hospital.

Ronnnie was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was a 1975 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and later attended the University of Louisville where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Ronnie was employed as a construction worker with the Laborers' International Union of North America, Local #1214.

He is survived by his wife, Lori G. Williams of Dyersburg, TN; three sons, Ronnie Williams, Jr. and Jamaal Winston, both of Dyersburg, TN and L.C. McPherson of Central City, KY; one daughter, Razine Goodman of Dyersburg, TN; three brothers, Ivy L. Williams and Bobby R. Williams, both of Paducah, KY, and Charles E. Williams of Toledo, OH; five sisters, Ann S. Barron, Karen Williams, Jerri Williams and Cherie Williams, all of Paducah, KY, and Linda Miles of St. Louis, MO; one grandson, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Williams, Jr. and Lou Ella Jackson and a brother. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may also call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday after 10:00 a.m.
