Obituary
Ronald A. Whiteside, 62, Paducah, died Friday, December 30, 2011, 5:57 a.m. at Hill View Community Living Center in Dresden, TN
Ronald was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Transportation Ministry and was the Activity Coordinator and cook for the Youth Ministry. He served in the United States Coast Guard and was formerly employed by Hublein and the United States Enrichment Corporation. Ronald graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and Kentucky State University. He refereed Basketball for the Kentucky High School Athletic Association for 32 years. Ronald was a member of the Paducah Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Rudolph Whiteside and Emma Lee Gray Whiteside, and one sister, Rhonda Whiteside McCoy.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Lisa Whiteside, Paducah, KY, one son Antonio Royce Whiteside, Jackson, TN; one daughter Emma Lee Whiteside, Paducah, KY; one grandson, four aunts and several cousins and friends.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend James L. Hudson will officiate. Burial will follow at a later date.
The family will receive visitors Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
