Robert Douglas Stepp age 65 of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 1:17 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

Robert Douglas Stepp, age 65, of Paducah, KY, surrendered his earthly life on July 12, 2023, 1:17 p.m. at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah. He was formerly employed as a maintenance worker at Kentucky Oaks Mall.

Robert was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on October 10, 1957, the son of Alexander Stepp Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Stepp. He was a graduated from Christian County High School.

Robert was an active member of First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah where he served as an usher, member of the Men's Choir, and drove the church van.

He was a quiet individual who stayed to himself, but he loved to have fun with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughters. His favorite pastime was watching college basketball and supporting his favorite team the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Stepp, Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson Stepp; three brothers, Henry Stepp, Joseph Stepp, and Fred Stepp; and one sister, Nellie Miller.

Precious memories will be cherished by one daughter, Valerie Stepp; two granddaughters, Jazlyn Foreman and Janiyah Foreman; one Step-Son, Freddie (Victoria) Travis; Step-Grandchildren, Andriah Hawthorne and Andrew Travis all of Paducah; four Brothers, Herschel (Allison) Stepp, of Paducah, Alexander (Doris) Stepp, Jr., Dennis (Alessandra) Stepp, both of Hopkinsville, KY; Jerry Stepp of Alameta, CA; one sister, Mary Smith of Hopkinsville, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and longtime friend, Darrel McKenzie.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Henrietta Owens. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
