Obituary
Robert Lee Scott, 82, of Arlington, KY passed away, Sunday, January 26, 2014, 10:20 p.m. in Bardwell.
Robert was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and as maintenance and grounds keeper. He was a retiree of the Kentucky State Highway Department.
He is survived by a son, Robert Lee Scott, Jr. of Freemont; four daughters, Mary Scott Blythe, Cindy Scott and Kathy Scott, all of Arlington and Laura Skinner of Lynnville; one brother, Gene Scott of Springhill, KY; 11 grandchildren , 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife Artie Mae Thomas Scott, six sisters and four brothers. His parents were John Scott and Oma Sue Cotton Scott.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014, 12:00 noon, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Oakton, KY. Reverend Anthony Johnson will officiate and burial will follow in Mt. Sinai Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
