Robert Lee Garnett, 50, Paducah died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, 4:00 a.m. at his residence.

Robert attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and attended West Kentucky State Vocational School. Robert worked as a chef at various local restaurants.

Robert was preceded in death by one sister, Etta Mae Garnett, two brothers, Joseph Garnett, and Issac Drue Garnett, and one nephew.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Maraion Garnett, Paducah, KY, three sons, Robert Dante Garnett, Nashville, TN, Justin Lee Garnett, and Charles Ridgeway, both of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Rhonda Jean Mayes, Paducah; his parents, Drue Garnett and Reather L. Garnett, both of Paducah, KY; one sister, Drucilla Garnett, Atlanta, GA; eight brothers, George E. Garnett, Ordall Garnett, Simual W. Garnett, James K. Garnett, Harold E. Garnett, Danny E. Morse, Dana Garnett and James I. Dawson Jr. all of Paducah, KY; 12 grandchildren, two aunts, two uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 11, 2010, 12 Noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY, with Brother Jim Ricks officiating.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home.
