Robert Lee Conner, Sr., age 68, of Paducah, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2018, 10:09 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital.

Robert was a member and oldest deacon at the Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church.  He was formerly employed at the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and in security at the local Wal-Mart.

He is survived by two sons , Robert Lee Conner, Jr. and Tony Conner, both of Stockton, CA; one daughter , Theresa Wright of Peru, IN; nine grandchildren ; five great-grandchildren ; two brothers , William Conner of Paducah and Gerald Conner of Columbus, MS; three sisters , Betty Fussell of Metropolis, IL, JoAnn Cawthon of Memphis, TN and Glenda Conner of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee Conner and Mary Haynes Conner, one daughter, Katherine Conner and two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 21, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
