Robert James Coleman, age 84 of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019, 5:32 a.m. at Grace Health Care in Nashville, TN.

He was a member of Ninth Street Church of Christ and served in the United States Army and Navy. He was retired from The Army Corps of Engineers-Locks and Dams.

He is survived by four nephews; James W. Russell Jr., Lawrence A. Russell Sr., Bruce Coleman and Rollan Coleman, five nieces; Rita Russell, Chavonne L. Mcfarland, Rhonda Coleman Robinson, Lisa Waters and Maria Coleman; several great nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Benjamin Coleman and Mary Alene Mays, five sisters and one brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ninth Street Church of Christ with Mark Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Rites.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
