Robert Lee "Bubba Fitz" Fitzpatrick, Jr., 56, of Metropolis, Il, passed away, Thursday, December 17, 2015, 9:45 pm, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

He was of the Baptist faith, a graduate of the former Metropolis Community High School, and an employee of Frank Farmer Chevrolet.

He is survived by one daughter, LaQuisha Reeves of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren; his parents, Robert Lee Fitzpatrick, Sr. and Esther L. Wade Fitzpatrick of Metropolis, IL; three sisters, Judith Ann Fitzpatrick Martin and Carmen Bonita Glore, both of Metropolis, IL and Ida Belle Heady of West Paducah,KY; five aunts, one uncle, one great-aunt and one great-uncle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Fitzpatrick and Ida Belle Easley Fitzpatrick; maternal grandparents, George Wade, Sr. and Lillie Mae McGoodwin Wade; and step-maternal grandmother, Edith Mae Fitzpatrick.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015, 11:00 am, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, IL. Reverends Orlando McReynolds and Michael Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis.

Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
