Funeral Service for Robert L. "Verne' Bowen, 55, Paducah, will be Saturday, September 20, 2008, 1:00 P.M., at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend
Cecil Cole and Reverend Alfred Anderson will officiate and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Robert died at his sister's residence on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2008, at 9:28 A.M.

Friends may call at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday from
12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

Robert was a member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church where he was a driver for the Van Ministry. He was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and worked various jobs in Paducah and the Indiana area.

He is survived by:

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Bowen, his parents, Robert and Evelyn Hargrove Bowen, one brother, Stanley Bowen and two nephews .
