Robert Lynn Beasley, age 80, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 3:21 p.m., at his residence.

He was a member of Little Union Missionary Baptist Church in Bandana, KY and retired from Westvaco as a power control supervisor.

Robert liked to pass his time by taking road trips and relaxing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bertrand Beasley and Marjorie Hall Beasley, two brothers, Howard Lee Childress and Ernest Childress.

He is survived by four daughters, Shirley (John) O'Bryan and LaDora (Sal) Patterson, both of Paducah; Joyce Buchanan of Blue Ridge, GA; Juanita (James) Ling of Hinesville, GA and Alecia Porter of Nashville, TN; one son, James (Rita) Beasley of Paducah; one brother, Charles Edward Beasley of Paducah; twenty-one grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including special friends, Luana Lewis and T. J. Bowles, Jr.

There will be no visitation.

Private graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, 2021, with Minister Grayling Baucom officiating.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions masked and social distancing will be required.
